It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Happy Christmas Season! This is such a busy time of year with so much going on! I love it. We are so excited for our first Christmas with Lydia. She has no idea what's coming! We went with Grandma & Grandpa Slater to pick out a Christmas Tree. She couldn't take her eyes off of this one, so we took it! Lydie doesn't quite know what to think about the cold. She always has the "why does my face hurt right now?" look on her face when we are out.



















We took Lydia out to experience the snow for the first time. She was very curious. I wouldn't say that she loved being out there, but she seemed to tolerate it. Josh can't wait until she can run around and go sledding!

While they were standing under a tree, the snow fell off the branches and covered both of them. Lydie didn't think it was too funny! We have had so many fun things planned, but Lydia always seems to fall asleep before we get them done. She was supposed to help the grandmas make Santa Claus sugar cookies, but she fell asleep. We had to make them without her. Grandma B lives with us too, so we get to spend lots of time with her!





















We also put up the Christmas Tree. Lydie had to enjoy that one after she woke up too. She loves to stare at the lights and the ornaments. I'm sure she would LOVE to get her hands on them.















This time of year is so much fun with a baby! I can't even imagine how fun it will be when she is older and can appreciate the wonders of the season!
