Pumpkins, Parties, and a Pretty Little Bug

We kicked off the season with a fun party at Troy & Melissa's. I was pretty proud of the peanut butter brownies that I made. I decorated them using QuicKutz shapes. Josh and I dressed up as surgeons and Lydie was a Lydie Bug of course.

When we found out that Edson and Claudia (our friends from Brazil and Columbia) had never carved pumpkins, we had to have them over to show them how it's done. They did a great job for their first time. Lydie pooped out way before she got hers carved, so we had to finish it for her.

The ward party was a little stressful. We were supposed to take soup and I spilled almost the whole crock pot of it in my new car on the way there. I was so mad, but everything turned out okay and we were able to enjoy the evening as a family. Lydie has a crush on Asher, the giraffe. One of Lydie's buddies, Amelie won the cuttest costume for babies, she was the cuttest little witch I have ever seen.
We took Lydie Trick or Treating at QuicKutz on Halloween, she loved being around all the kids, but the part she liked most was spinning around on Daddy's work chair.

The finale: Cousins. Lydie loves being with her cousins. It was fun to end the holiday with the grandparents and cousins. My parents grew these HUGE pumpkins!
