Halloween

We are brand new at this whole blogging thing, but here we go! We had a great Halloween this year. We actually spent it in Las Vegas with some friends. We stayed with them because Josh had his first dental school interview on Thursday. Josh feels like the interview went well-I'm sure they were very impressed by him. We both left Las Vegas with warm fuzzies. We would love to go to dental school at UNLV. Now we are just waiting to hear back from them. The soonest we could find out is December 1st, but it could be as late as next summer if he gets put on a waiting list. We are still waiting to hear back from a bunch of dental schools. The waiting game is so much fun:).

We dressed up for a Halloween party at the Andersen's on the Saturday before Halloween. We had a blast. Josh was superman, I was wonder woman and Lydia was a little red crayon. We had a lot of fun, but Lydia was ready to sleep about 15 minutes after we got there. What a party pooper!

Luckily she got to wear her costume again at the annual Slater Family Costume Parade on Sunday. She has two baby cousins that were also crayons-they were the stars of the show. Grandma Estelle (my mom) made the costumes. We love being so close to family right now.
