help! I can't do it, I'm getting really frustrated...
bloggers, I struggle with posting pictures and making them be where I want them to be (look at my last post). please give me some pointers on posting pictures.
there's actually not much you can do about it, honestly. there's essentially three options. to the left, in the middle, and to the right. and then from there, you can move them up and down by dragging them with the mouse. you have to decide beforehand what position you want them in side to side, and then it's a guessing game when you drag them up and down where they're actually going to end up... it's super frustrating. don't give up though. :) we like the pictures regardless of where they're sitting on the blog post.
I fully agree with Janaya - don't give up. :) I have tried the 'none' option when choosing what kind of placing you want with your pictures. You can then put them side by side, and choose the center justification after highlighting them. This only works for the small version of the pictures - but it helps it look somewhat organized! :)
EMILY!!! I was so excited to see you leave a comment on my blog! At first I was confused. Sniff! I knew somebody use to call me that but I couldn't remember. Yea! It's so good to hear from you. I'm sorry that I lost track of you! I had an email address for you but it must have been the wrong one. You are so cute! And Lydie is an absolute doll! Oh my goodness! We definitely need to get together sometime! I'm so excited! (Can you tell since almost every sentence ends with an exclamation point!?!) I'm doing a happy dance right now! Now that I have the right email address for you, I'll email!
My friend Robin blogs a lot and just commented in one of her emails that she uses something called Picasa. It is a free picture organizer through Google. I haven't tried it yet, but she says that it makes things tons easier to post. She says that you just have to download the program and then it organizes your pictures. Then you just click "blog this picture" and it does it for you. I'll have to check it out, but I thought I would pass that along.
I used to try to position them all nice and newspaper like, but found the best/easiest/fastest way to do it was to just center it and make it large, plus people dont have to click on the picture to see it...oh, and a little birdy told me you guys may be moving back into the ward...I would be soooo happy! Tell us what we need to do to get our Joshy back!
Our story began in May 2004 when we got married. Just when we thought life couldn't get any better, IT DID- Lydia was born in June 2007 and Will joined us in September 2009. We just started a new chapter of our lives here in Virginia while Josh goes to Dental School. The blessings just keep coming.
