This has been a crazy, crazy winter! I can't believe that it just keeps snowing! We woke up to several new inches yesterday morning. It was still snowing when it was time to go to church. Even though I thoroughly enjoy church, my calling in YW, and the people in our ward, I was secretly hoping that church would be canceled. We waited until the last moment, but no news of cancellation. We only live about 1/4 mile from our church, but it was a scary drive. The roads were really icy. The snow just kept coming down all through sacrament meeting. After Sunday school the bishop came in and told us all to go home! I was heartbroken:). I only remember church being canceled once before in my life. It was really fun to come home. We got the best of both worlds- church and to be home. There was at least a foot of snow on the ground. While the men shoveled snow, the womenfolk played. My mom made this snowgirl for Lydia. She went all out-that's what Grandma's do best. Grandma wasn't around when Lydie woke up to get her picture taken, so Daddy held her for the pictures.
Our story began in May 2004 when we got married. Just when we thought life couldn't get any better, IT DID- Lydia was born in June 2007 and Will joined us in September 2009. We just started a new chapter of our lives here in Virginia while Josh goes to Dental School. The blessings just keep coming.
