Congratulations Grandma & Grandpa!

This was Lydia's reaction when I broke the news to her that two of her favorite people in the world are leaving to go on a mission. It's no secret that she's really attached to her grandparents.
They've had a lot of fun together as we lived with them and as we've lived close to them. Lydia walks into their house like she owns it. And she could get away with just about anything in their care. I love that they have this relationship (even though sometimes I wish she was as excited to see me as she is to see them).

Lucky for us they are going to the Heber Valley Camp which is up Provo Canyon, just beyond Heber. We'll be able to make some visits to them, and they'll be able to come home on their P-days.

We're so excited for them, even though we are going to miss them like crazy. Get ready, Grandma & Grandpa- we're going to spend some serious time with you before you leave!
This also means a big change for our little family. We're going to move back into my parents' house and stay with Grandma B for a while. She's been living with my parents for about 4 years now. We're excited to get to spend some time with her. This is the grandma that played the Wii with us at our New Year's Eve party-talk about a cool Grannie!

Good for them! I hadn't heard. Sorry for Lydia, though, it's tough to see Grandparents leave...

How exciting...for everyone. Your parents will love it up there, and that's nice that they'll be so close. Can't wait to catch up with you.
