It started snowing yesterday morning when we woke up and it didn't stop until the evening. It was crazy. All the weather men were making such a big deal about it earlier in the week, telling us to go buy milk, eggs, bread, etc. I just rolled my eyes. Come on, this is VA. Well, it's a good thing we had the basics, because we were stuck in all day yesterday. 
Church was canceled today-crazy. I say we have 12-14 inches accumulated. This is nuts! I thought we would leave the snow behind when we came from Utah. It's fun, but we don't even have a snow shovel to clear our walk. It's a good thing I don't need to go anywhere tomorrow!We all kept busy yesterday while stuck inside.
We tried going out to play in the snow, but Lydia couldn't walk around because it was too deep. She just stood there and told me to play with the snow. Besides it was too powdery to make a snowman. So we brought the snow inside for her to play with.
Will just squealed, ate his toys, spit up-a lot, and slept to pass the day.
Our warm house made the snow a little easier to work with, so we made this fun little snowman with a carrot nose and everything.
Josh kept busy all day long studying. It was kind of a challenge since Lydia was climbing all over him and asking him to play, but he seems to have managed. I'm so glad it's him in school and not me! He's amazing how hard he works.
And I kept busy making this new pillow for my couch. Please don't look too close. I was in a hurry. I saw the pillow on Make it and Love It. Thanks, Kelli!
It was a pretty good day, but I am really starting to have spring fever!

That is so funny that you made that pillow. That was the one thing I wanted to make from the website. Also, great idea to bring the snow inside. I always bundle Allie up to go outside (which takes forever). She plays for five minutes, gets too cold, and wants to go back inside. I'm going to try idea.

You are the cutest mom!! I don't think that would have even crossed my mind to bring the snow inside. Me and Dane were laughing at the news too when they were talking about stocking up on food hahaha who knew!?
You are so resourceful! This is why I miss being your neighbor, so I can steal great ideas from you! That pillow is great! by the "don't look too close" comment, I'm guessing it was sewn "A-La-Diva"?
