Another holiday away from home...I just can't let myself think about it too much or I get sad. Luckily we have an adopted family here that fills in.
We had an Easter egg hunt and brunch on Saturday with a bunch of friends in the ward. It was so fun to get together and Lydia had fun finding eggs. She had a hard time going to sleep the night before because she knew the Easter Bunny was coming.

We have started a family tradition each General Conference. We make these AWESOME waffles that Josh's mission president made for him. You take pre-cooked bacon and put it on the waffle iron. Cover it with waffle batter and cook it. Then you smother the waffle with maple syrup and top it with vanilla bean ice cream and strawberries. Yum!
We had some friends over Easter morning for brunch to share in the tradition. Josh, Hutch, Katie, Josh, and Brittany.
